We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. From the photos included while I was booking, I had assumed that we were staying at a more dated property. However, you can tell that this hotel is well maintained, and has certainly received some renos in the last couple years to keep it looking fresh and modern. The agents at the front desk were all friendly and prompt whenever we required any assistance, and they made our stay a breeze. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were all comfortable (even the pullout sofas!). The location is absolutely unbeatable - within blocks of the central downtown core, but far enough away to not catch the noise of the main street. All 6 of us who stayed there said we would definitely be returning when we come back to Kelowna, and I would heartily recommend this property to friends and family.
Located 10 minutes’ drive from Kelowna Airport, this family-friendly hotel provides free Wi-Fi. A heated pool with a water slide is open year-round.

Breakfast offerings was a bit above many other similar hotels, including in the US - good variety of choices. Bold coffee was deeply appreciated. Average room but with mini fridge and microwave oven discreetly tucked away. Comfy bed and the window slid open enough to enjoy some much needed real air. This hotel is also placed well, within easy reach of the main road through town, and with a varied selection of restaurants, lounges and stores nearby. Good value generally.

It is a hostel after all. The staff was incredibly friendly, but the other guests were quite loud, even during the supposedly "quiet hours".
If you get a top bunk, there are no outlets to charge your devices.
The toilet were ok but the bathroom was horrible: hair around and in the sink and drain, faucet were disgusting and not cleaned.

The city of Kelowna is beautiful and has everything a traveller should need. Beaches, many Restaurants and hotels down town with a great variety within walking distance, many shops etc. But prices are very expensive there for everything. A vehicle is a must to get to most attractions because it is spread out. Many vehicle rental companies at the Airport, and some bike rentals down town. I did notice some boat excursions trips offered but I didn't use. Taxi is available but I didn't need any because I had a rental vehicle

I personally live in Kelowna but my home was sold to developers and have been basically homeless for 4 months so that’s why I’ve been staying at hotels.
Kelowna is a nice place , just living here is tough . Years ago they called Kelowna “Canada’s Hawaii” because of our beautiful weather. Getting around Kelowna is easy I would say . Traffic is crazy in the summer with only one bridge in and out of town towards Penticton or Van .

Just an overnight stay on the way home.
Just an overnight stay on the way home. Airport a mess with expansion construction. Long walk to shuttle, need to improve this, I have a disability and made it very difficult. Also no airport restaurants open late, nowhere to eat if you arrive on a late flight.

Kelowna is absolutely beautiful and inviting it has all the right qualities and attractions to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome in our community. The views that surround you are breathtaking and there’s a beach or creek within a half mile to mile radius of you almost anywhere in the city. Walking paths and hiking trails are also of abundance here and there is no shortage of places to explore. Kelowna is a beautiful city and definitely worth putting in your vacation budget. Make it a big budget too a sit is a luxury that you pay for as prices are on the higher end of the markets

I lived in the area for many years and other than during wildfire season, the entire region is spectacular. There is so much to do, all year round! There are 5 or 6 top notch ski resorts, more wineries, golf courses and camp grounds than you can count, and the lakes have amazing beaches - especially Kal Lake which has a tropical feel mid-summer.
The hotel is ok. It's a 80's hotel renewed in the early 2000's. It's nothing out of this world. It's not bad in any sense, but it's not mindblowing. They have a small pool (which I wasn't confident enough to use) and a tinny gym (that needs equipment from this decade). Would I book with them again? If they have a great price per night, sure. Will it be my best memory of Kelowna? No.
It was convenient to be across the street from a mall and have many restaurants in the area.
This was a very charming b&b, with a lovely pool in the back and an excellent view from the back patio. Rooms were clean and cozy. Claire & Kelly Sulcoy, the owners, were gracious hosts. Their delicious afternoon tea and breakfast feast as well as the small bottle of sherry in the rooms were all thoughtful touches that helped enhance our stay. The b&b is located ~7-10 min drive to downtown Kelowna, in a quiet residential neighborhood. I would highly recommend this b&b.
This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Eldorado and as usual, it didn't disappoint. We didn't even leave the resort for the duration of our stay since everything we needed was right on site - beach, pools, little bit of shopping in The Boathouse, restaurants (from casual to fine dining) and a pub!
The staff were, as always, extraordinarily, patient, kind and helpful, despite the fact that it was prime tourist season and there were a lot of people to assist!
I was thoroughly impressed. The modern rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful, making my stay that much more enjoyable. Plus, the hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore the city in my downtime. Overall, I highly recommend The Hyatt for anyone visiting Kelowna BC.
The close proximity to the airport was a big factor. The beds were really comfortable as were the pillows. Room was very clean. ...it was a nice basic hotel. We had to be up and out by 430am the desk clerk told us to mention it to the night shift on checking out they would package up some food for us as we were missing the free breakfast. So very thoughtful!
The location of the hotel was great. Close to the water, and close to all of the downtown restaurants and attractions. The staff were very accommodating, providing us with extra blankets, towels, and even wine glasses!
The value for the hotel was good. I would stay here again during a future trip to Kelowna.
Beautiful view, perfect location close to downtown and on the water. Clean, secure and quiet building. The unit itself was immaculate- clean, spacious, had everything we needed and more. Much more accommodating than a hotel stay. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
The room was very nice.!
Bright and clean and well appointed.
The staff was fantastic. Answered all inquiries with clarity and friendliness.
Food quality was very good.
Great hotel to stay in with the city of Kelowna within minutes in every direction.
clean, honestly it's as expected and good value for a fraction of the costs of other hotels in Kelowna. The room was renovated, the courtyard was lovely. Easy to load and unload as its a motel style, with a large sliding door to the courtyard.
Beware there is false advertising. This is not a pet friendly hotel. I specifically booked this hotel as it said it was pet friendly. We were thrown out on Saturday. It was my daughter and my baby grandchild and two small dogs.
Great location with easy walk to the beach or downtown Kelowna. Loved the patio chairs outside our room for coffee in the morning. Rooms were recently renovated and clean and beds were comfy!
This hotel has an excellent location downtown Kelowna. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Housecoats in the room are a nice touch. The sauna was also nice.
Clean, well maintained property, but cheap. On the prairies this hotel would be $79/night, but it's Kelowna and truly it's location is amazing and it's what you're paying for.
